Solar Power Systems have been introduced over the last few years and they have had an extremely positive impact, showing that there is a different path for the future of energy. The benefits of solar power systems in the home and on a commercial level are literally limitless and as technology improves, so will the amount of solar energy that is produced by solar power systems. For anyone interested in purchasing or buying a solar power system, they need to differentiate the two types that are available. There is one system which is called a stand alone system and one that is linked to the grid. The stand alone system is likely to be a DIY system, where as the grid tie system would have been installed by the grid. Those that have a grid tie system will be able to essentially “rent” their system to the grid or electricity supplier and potentially get free electricity as well as making some money!
Either way, solar power systems are certainly the future. As time goes on, solar power system technology continues to get better. Of course, as the technology becomes better, the prices become lower and it allows more and more people to get involved.
